Pada lubang pertama di lapangan golf, seorang pria mencoba memukul bola, tetapi bola itu melayang dan menghilang dari lapangan. Pria itu menganggap bola itu hilang, lalu menempatkan bola lain dan mulai lagi. Dia bermain sembilan lubang ketika polisi datang kepadanya:

"Pak, apakah anda baru saja kehilangan beberapa bola?"
"Ya, Pak. Kenapa?"
"Begini Pak, saya takut saya punya berita buruk untuk Anda. Anda lihat, bola mengenai seorang pengendara sepeda, menyebabkan dia berbelok kanan ke jalan bus yang melaju. Bus menabrak pengendara sepeda dan kemudian menabrak sebuah truk yang datang dari arah berlawanan. saat ini korban adalah dua puluh satu orang tewas dan kami masih belum tahu berapa banyak yang terluka."

Pria itu panik dan tergugup-gugup berkata, "Oh, ini mengerikan! Saya.. saya tidak tahu.. apakah ada yang bisa saya lakukan?"

"Nah, begini saja Pak. Ini nanti selanjutnya jika anda ingin memukul bola, putar stik ke kanan sedikit, seperti ini.."

Mengajak Anak Pergi Berburu Harimau

Seorang pria mengajak anaknya untuk berburu harimau. Mereka merayap melalui semak-semak dan pria itu mengatakan,

"Nak, berburu ini menandai bagianmu menuju kedewasaan. Kamu memiliki pertanyaan?"

Dan anak itu mengatakan, "Ya, jika harimau membunuh Ayah, bagaimana cara aku pulang ke rumah?"

Salah Memasang Pelana Kuda

Seorang pengendara pemula di kandang kuda sedang berusaha untuk naik ke pelana kuda.

"Permisi," kata penjaga yang sudah tua di situ, "tetapi anda menempatkan pelana ke arah belakang."

"Bagaimana anda bisa tahu?" bentak siswa, "Anda kan tidak tahu saya mau jalan ke arah mana."
