Hati Yang Tergerak : Persembahan Berkenan

Baca: Keluaran 35:4-29

"Ambillah bagi TUHAN persembahan khusus dari barang kepunyaanmu; setiap orang yang terdorong hatinya harus membawanya sebagai persembahan khusus kepada TUHAN:" (Keluaran 35:5)

Sebagaimana disampaikan Musa kepada umat Israel, persembahan yang berkenan di hati Tuhan bukanlah dilihat dari nominalnya, melainkan yang keluar dari hati yang tergerak, dilakukan dengan sukarela, bukan dalam keadaan terpaksa atau berat hati. Terpaksa adalah berbuat di luar kemauan sendiri karena terdesak oleh keadaan atau pihak lain. Rasul Paulus juga menegaskan, "Hendaklah masing-masing memberikan menurut kerelaan hatinya, jangan dengan sedih hati atau karena paksaan, sebab Allah mengasihi orang yang memberi dengan sukacita." (2 Korintus 9:7).

Setelah mendengar nasihat Musa itu setiap orang tergerak hatinya untuk mempersembahkan barang-barang yang dimilikinya untuk mendukung pekerjaan Tuhan, dalam rangka pembangunan Kemah Suci. "Lalu pergilah segenap jemaah Israel dari depan Musa. Sesudah itu datanglah setiap orang yang tergerak hatinya, setiap orang yang terdorong jiwanya, membawa persembahan khusus kepada TUHAN untuk pekerjaan melengkapi Kemah Pertemuan dan untuk segala ibadah di dalamnya dan untuk pakaian kudus itu." (Keluaran 35:20-21).

Musa tidak memanggil semua orang untuk memberikan persembahan, tetapi hanya mereka yang tergerak hatinya saja. Mengapa? Karena untuk melakukan pekerjaan Tuhan atau melayani Dia diperlukan hati yang rela terbeban, bukan karena terpaksa. Adapun persembahan kepada Tuhan itu tidak terbatas pada materi atau uang saja, namun termasuk melayani atau mengerjakan sesuatu untuk Tuhan dengan mempersembahkan waktu, tenaga, pikiran dan seluruh keberadaan hidup kita, "...supaya kamu mempersembahkan tubuhmu sebagai persembahan yang hidup, yang kudus dan yang berkenan kepada Allah: itu adalah ibadahmu yang sejati." (Roma 12:1).

Tuhan tidak melihat seberapa besar persembahan materi atau seberapa hebat seseorang mengerjakan sesuatu untuk Tuhan, tetapi yang Dia cari dan inginkan dari umat-Nya adalah hati yang tergerak. Itulah persembahan yang harum di hadapan Tuhan.

Hati yang tergerak dan penuh kerelaan adalah kunci memberi persembahan bagi Tuhan!
