Seorang profesor bahasa Indonesia dan editor koran lokal sering berdebat dengan bercanda. Pada suatu petang, profesor sedang berjalan keluar dari klub lokal dengan
sebotol wiski dibungkus kertas koran hari itu.

"Oh!" Kata editor, yang berjalan melewati, "Sepertinya ada sesuatu yang menarik di koran itu."

"Yoi," jawab si profesor, "Ini adalah hal yang paling menarik di sepanjang minggu ini."

Sistem Speaker Darurat di Kantor

Sebuah suara di loudspeaker kantor mengumumkan: "Kami akan menguji sistem speaker untuk memastikan alat ini akan bekerja benar dalam keadaan darurat."

Semua keyakinan pegawai dalam tindakan pencegahan keselamatan ini mulai memudar ketika ada suara yang menambahkan: "Jika anda tidak dapat mendengar pengumuman ini, silahkan hubungi kami."

Masuk Kerja Terlambat dan Pulang Cepat

Ada sebuah perusahaan dengan jadwal kerja yang sangat ketat. Semua staf datang untuk bekerja jam 6 pagi dan mulai meninggalkan kantor jam 11 malam.

Tiba-tiba, satu orang mulai masuk pada jam 9. Semua orang saling "melihat".

Dan ia meninggalkan kantor pada jam 6 sore. Semua orang saling "melihat".

Hari berikutnya adalah cerita yang sama. Dan sehari kemudian satu orang itu datang ke kantor dengan waktu yang sama.

Akhirnya, mereka mulai kesal, lalu datang untuk memarahi karyawan ini untuk menjelaskan aturan jam kerja.

Dia mendengarkan, diam sebentar dan berkata: "Maaf teman-teman, aku kan sedang ambil cuti..."
