Untuk bisa Mendengar Tuhan, Datang Mendekatlah kepada-Nya

Bacaan Hari ini:
Amsal 2:6 “Karena Tuhanlah yang memberikan hikmat, dari mulut-Nya datang pengetahuan dan kepandaian.”


Anda mungkin berkata, “Aku ingin percaya Tuhan, tetapi aku tidak bisa mendengar-Nya.” 

Alkitab berkata, "Diamlah dan ketahuilah, bahwa Akulah Allah! Aku ditinggikan di antara bangsa-bangsa, ditinggikan di bumi!" (Mazmur 46:10). Itu artinya Anda duduk tenang dan berdiam diri. Begitulah cara Anda mendengarkan Tuhan dan datang mendekat kepada-Nya. Anda harus mencari tempat yang sepi dan berdiam diri dengan Alkitab Anda. Katakan, “Tuhan, apa yang ingin Engkau sampaikan kepadaku?” Bacalah Firman Tuhan, dan katakanlah kepada-Nya apapun yang ada di hati Anda.

Tuhan berkata Dia akan memberi Anda hikmat yang Anda butuhkan untuk mengenali suara-Nya dan untuk melaksanakan apa yang Ia katakan: “Karena Tuhanlah yang memberikan hikmat, dari mulut-Nya datang pengetahuan dan kepandaian” (Amsal 2: 6).

Hari ini, ucapkanlah doa ini: “Tuhan, aku ingin mendengarkan suara-Mu, bukan suara keraguanku. Aku ingin dekat dengan-Mu dan mengenal-Mu lebih baik lagi. Aku ingin mendengarkan-Mu, dan aku berjanji untuk taat kepada-Mu. Aku ingin menjadi salah satu orang yang bisa Engkau pakai dan berkati.” 

Renungkan hal ini: 

- Apa yang perlu Anda ubah tentang cara Anda menemui Tuhan, sehingga Anda bisa semakin tenang dan semakin mendekatkan diri kepada-Nya?
- Bagaimana biasanya Anda merespon arah pimpinan Tuhan atas hidup Anda?
- Bagaimana Anda dapat memperlihatkan bahwa Anda siap mematuhi apa yang Tuhan minta untuk Anda lakukan?

Mazmur 89-90; Roma 15:1-13

Anda tidak bisa mendengar Tuhan ketika pikiran Anda dipenuhi dengan beribu gangguan. Untuk bisa mendengar suara Tuhan, Anda harus datang mendekat kepada-Nya. Anda harus datang seorang diri kepada Tuhan dan berdiam diri.
