Hubungan Antara Rancangan dan Doa

Bacaan Hari ini:
Yeremia 29: 11-12 "Sebab Aku ini mengetahui rancangan-rancangan apa yang ada pada-Ku mengenai kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, yaitu rancangan damai sejahtera dan bukan rancangan kecelakaan, untuk memberikan kepadamu hari depan yang penuh harapan. Dan apabila kamu berseru dan datang untuk berdoa kepada-Ku, maka Aku akan mendengarkan kamu;"


Adakah yang tidak bisa dilakukan oleh Tuhan? Ada banyak hal yang tidak bisa dilakukan oleh Tuhan. Dia tidak bisa menyangkal diri-Nya sendiri. Dia tidak bisa jahat. Tuhan itu baik, jadi pada dasarnya, Dia tidak bisa melakukan hal-hal buruk. Segala yang dilakukan Tuhan itu baik. Karena Tuhan itu baik, maka rencana Tuhan untuk hidup Anda akan selalu baik.

Yeremia 29: 11-12 mengatakan, "Sebab Aku ini mengetahui rancangan-rancangan apa yang ada pada-Ku mengenai kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, yaitu rancangan damai sejahtera dan bukan rancangan kecelakaan, untuk memberikan kepadamu hari depan yang penuh harapan. Dan apabila kamu berseru dan datang untuk berdoa kepada-Ku, maka Aku akan mendengarkan kamu;"

Apakah Anda lihat hubungan antara doa dan rencana Tuhan untuk hidup Anda?

Saya sudah mengatakan ini berkali-kali, tetapi saya akan mengatakannya lagi: Anda diciptakan karena hidup Anda punya tujuan. Ada orang-orang yang kebetulan menjadi orangtua, tetapi tidak ada anak-anak yang kebetulan. Orangtua Anda mungkin tidak merencanakan Anda dilahirkan, tetapi Allah telah jauh sebelumnya merancang Anda dan Dia ingin Anda hidup.

Nah, Tuhan sesungguhnya tidak perlu membuat rencana atas hidup Anda. Dia bisa saja membiarkan Anda dilahirkan dan kemudian membiarkan Anda berkeliaran di dunia ini tanpa tujuan.

Tetapi Tuhan tidak pernah membuat sesuatu tanpa tujuan. Segalanya memiliki tujuan dan rencana. Tuhan memberi Anda rencana atas hidup Anda. Mengapa? Sebab Dia mengasihi Anda. Dia adalah Tuhan yang baik. Dia menciptakan Anda dengan pemikiran yang sungguh-sungguh.

Sekarang Anda mungkin bertanya, "Jadi bagaimana saya tahu rencana Allah?" Rancangan Allah atas hidup Anda terungkap dan diwujudkan melalui doa. Semakin banyak Anda berdoa, semakin Anda memahami rencana Tuhan untuk hidup Anda. Ketika Anda berdoa kepada-Nya, Dia mendengarkan, dan Dia menjawab dan menyatakan lebih banyak tentang diri-Nya kepada Anda.

Renungkan hal ini:
- Bagaimana kehidupan doa Anda mencerminkan betapa besarnya kerinduan Anda untuk memahami rencana Tuhan atas hidup Anda?
- Apa janji-janji khusus untuk orang percaya dalam Yeremia 29: 11-12?
- Dengan cara apa Allah menyatakan tujuan-Nya atas hidup Anda?
